Order online
Order an asbestos sample kit from Onelab's online store to Pori. The kit contains sampling instructions and bags.
Take the sample yourself
Carefully detach a piece of about 2–3 cm from the material (a respirator is recommended). Pack it in a Minigrip bag.
Send it and get the result
Post it from Pori to the Onelab laboratory. The result is emailed to you on the day it arrives.

Sampling points in a Pori property
The building stock of Pori ranges from the Art Nouveau blocks of the centre to the 1960s-1970s apartment suburbs and an extensive area of detached houses. In the older masonry buildings asbestos appears in pipe insulation and wall fillers, in the newer prefabricated blocks in floor adhesives, in the substrate of vinyl flooring and in tile adhesives. Take the sample so that the adhesive layer comes with it.
Mark the room and the structure
Write both the room and the structure on every bag, for example the vinyl flooring on the kitchen floor and the adhesive beneath it. If the renovation concerns several rooms, that marking is what determines where the result applies. Floor alone is not enough if you send several samples from the same apartment.
