Asbestos sample Porvoo
In the wooden houses lining the idyllic river landscape and in the apartment buildings of the late twentieth century, a suspect material is worth testing before renovation. Detach a piece yourself into an airtight bag and post the sample to us - we do not need a visit on site in Porvoo.

Why Onelab
A reliable laboratory throughout Finland
The layered building stock of Porvoo
The wooden houses of the Old Town of Porvoo and the buildings of the Empire quarter predate the use of asbestos, so asbestos is typically found in them only in later repair layers: in floor coverings, bathroom waterproofing membranes and pipe insulation installed during the 1950s-1980s. In the newer suburbs floor adhesives and tile adhesives are the most common.
Sampling repair layers
Take the sample from exactly the layer that is being demolished. In an old house the floor may carry several coverings from different decades on top of one another, and only some of them contain asbestos. Mark on the bag which layer the sample comes from. From Porvoo the letter reaches our laboratory in Espoo typically the next business day.
