Why Onelab
A reliable laboratory throughout Finland
A result for each sample
In Kerava projects several samples often travel in the same letter. The sample is examined with a JEOL SEM-EDS electron microscope by the criteria of the ISO 22262-1 standard. Each sample is analysed separately and the result is reported per sample, so in a renovation involving several structures you see at once which materials require asbestos removal work and which do not.
The result as a basis for planning
A per-sample answer helps to delimit the demolition work: if only one structure is positive, asbestos removal work concerns only that part of the project. This lowers costs compared with carrying out the whole renovation as asbestos work just to be safe. The answer is delivered in writing by email.
